Waffle towels, on the other hand, are designed differently. After washing and shrinking, they form waffle-like squares, exposing more surface area that allows them to breathe and stay fresh.

Where are the towels made? Our towels are made in Pakistan. Owners Kumy (a Pakistani-American) and his wife Ann (a native Nebraskan) have maintained close ties with farmers and manufacturers in Pakistan since 1990, and they are proud of their pioneering and ongoing support of environmentally-safe manufacturing.

Are these towels as soft as velour or terry towels? While our towels do become softer over time, their waffle weave has a slightly bumpier texture, offering a gentle exfoliation that many people find appealing. The tradeoff for plush softness is that it can hold moisture for an extended period, which the waffle weave helps to avoid.
